When purchasing a condo, it is crucial to factor in the maintenance and management of the property. Besides the initial cost, condos often come with maintenance fees that cover the upkeep of shared spaces and amenities. While these fees may increase the overall cost of ownership, they also guarantee that the property remains well-maintained and retains its value. To simplify the management of their condo, investors can enlist the services of a property management company, turning it into a more passive investment. By including Singapore Projects, investors can also take advantage of the lucrative real estate market in the region.
Cheong brings with her a wealth of experience, having previously served as CEO of HDB from 2010 to 2020 and CEO of URA from 2004 to 2010. Currently, she chairs the Lee Kuan Yew Centre for Innovative Cities and serves as a Professor of Practice at the Singapore University of Technology and Design. She is also the chair of the Centre for Liveable Cities Advisory Panel under the Ministry of National Development.
Moreover, Cheong holds board positions at the National University of Singapore and CapitaLand Group, and she is Singapore’s non-resident ambassador to Finland.
